Fish is such an easy yet tasty way to switch up your protein source. This fish fry has a very earthy touch to its flavor. It is proudly marinated with herbs found so easily at your grocery store or even your pantry. What can make this better? Fresh herbs of course! The blend of herbs doesn’t over power the taste of the real fish itself. I love my fish slightly crispy from the outside and soft and juicy from the inside. So perfect for the chill weather accompanied with some veggies.
For the marinade –
- 3 pink perch
- 1 tsp. Rosemary
- 1 tsp. White vinegar
- 1 tsp. Mexican seasoning
- 1 tsp. Basil
- 1 tsp. Chili flakes
- 1 tbsp. Coconut oil
- Dill (for frying)
- Salt to taste
Wash the fish with vinegar and cold water.
Now marinate the fish with rosemary, white vinegar, salt, Mexican seasoning, basil, chili flakes, and coconut oil for 20 minutes and set aside.
In a non-stick pan add some oil, once heated on low flame, add some dill (fresh would be preferred) and place the fish to fry.
Pan Fry it for about 3 minutes for lightly cooked. If you want your fish crispy on the outside then cook it for about 4 minutes on each side.
